[ July 2013 ]
At time of writing we have plenty of water and plenty of fish running the system. Angling effort is low at present for the good water we have, and those who are fishing are meeting fish. 2 Salmon and 26 Sea Trout were recorded for 40 rod days. Henry Molloy(Dublin) fished the Derryclare Butts on his first ever day fly fishing and managed a 4.5lbs grilse on a Silver Rat. Paul Caislin and Peter Gray(Mayo) boated 8 Sea Trout for a day on Inagh, top flies this week were a Kate McClaren and a Silver Daddy.
