It was a quiet month on Corrib, but for those who ventured out there was some excellent fishing to be had during much of July with trout happily rising to the Dap, in fact it was almost easier to catch a trout than Grasshoppers or Daddy Long Legs.!

John Healy and Paddy Curran , M Coughlan and Michael Kearns fishing over 3 days had some fantastic returns in Portacarron Bay,
Day 1 saw John Healy / Paddy Curran have a total of 7 trout, 10 1/2 lbs, 6 returned. Day 2 M Coughlan and Noel Kearns had 2 trout for 4 1/2 ibs .
Day 3 Noel Kearns and Paddy Curran had 7 trout for 11lbs + 8 returned.
